Golf Professionals
Kyler grew up in Pleasant Hill, Ohio and graduated from Newton Local High School. He earned a basketball scholarship and played for four years at North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina. Upon graduating with a degree in History, he decided to pursue golf as a career and moved to California where he began working at the Jim McLean Golf School at PGA West in La Quinta, California as a teaching assistant. In 2012-2013, he spent time teaching golf overseas in Shenzhen, China for Golden State Golf Academy as the Director of Instruction. Upon returning to the States, he accepted an assistant professional position at River Valley Ranch Golf Club in Carbondale, Colorado. He spent five years there from 2013-2017 as both an assistant golf professional and a head golf professional before returning to Ohio as the Director of Golf for Miami Shores Golf Course. Kyler is happily married to his wife, Cheyene. They have one child, Gryffin Whitaker Booher, born in November 2019.
Connor grew up in Troy, Ohio and graduated from Bethel. After high school he attended Heidelberg University to study Sports Management, as well as play golf. After two years he transferred to Bowling Green State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. After college he decided to pursue golf as a career, working both at Piqua Country Club and Miami Shores before eventually settling at Shores. Connor is currently a PGA associate, working towards Class A membership. Connor and his wife Hailey have one child, Charlotte Jalynn Hockett.
US Kids Golf - Junior Golf Program
In our six -week program, golfers are taught the basics of the game (putting, chipping, pitching and full swing) as well as rules and etiquette. The program also incorporates games and contests as a way of developing skills. Instruction takes place once a week and includes time on the putting green, driving range, as well as on-course instruction and playing opportunity.

PGA Junior League
We’re excited to offer PGA Jr. League again this season! This will be our 5th consecutive year offering this program and we hope to see it continue to grow as it has done in the first 4 years!
You and your kids will share in this awesome opportunity to learn and play golf in a relaxed team environment. PGA Jr. League is all about fun!

Miami Shores PGA Jr. League is open to boys and girls ages 8-13 and under of all skill levels – no golf experience required!
The program fee for PGA Jr. League at Miami Shores is $259. Each PGA Jr. League player will receive:
Two high-quality team jerseys; one orange and one blue (for home and away games). Jerseys are available in boys and girls sizes and customizable with our team name and player’s chosen jersey number!
Game Guide, hat or visor, bag tag, stickers and drawstring bag
7-8 Team Practices:
Practices include team and individual instruction from our PGA Professional and Assistant Professional
4-6 games (games will be played throughout June and July and are typically on weekend afternoons, schedule will be finalized by early May at the latest once our team(s) is/are assigned to a local league)
Opportunity to qualify and participate in local and national postseason play
